How Does It Work?
Assessment.
Visual acuity tests assess an individual’s ability to see fine details and read letters or symbols at a specific distance. These tests are commonly performed during eye examinations. Here are some possible tests we might apply, depending upon your presentation:
The LogMAR chart is a visual acuity test used by eye care professionals. It consists of rows of letters, scored based on logarithmic resolution angles.
The cover test is a measurement of eye posture or eye alignment. It involves covering one eye and observing the movement of the fellow eye. We use this test to look for strabismus (squints) and control of binocular single vision.
Testing of fusional reserves and stereo vision.
A full visual processing assessment.
